If FSX PLAY's Download Manager isn't functioning (even in version 1.2.0.3 or above), use these steps to restore course downloads:
What’s Going On
The background Download Manager process might not be running, or it's lacking permissions. This prevents course files from downloading properly.
Steps to Fix

Run the Download Manager Manually as Admin
Open File Explorer.

Navigate to:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Foresight Sports Experience Components\DownloadManager Right-click ForesightSports.DownloadManager.exe → Run as administrator
Then open FSX PLAY and try the download again.

Set It to Always Run as Admin
In the same folder, right-click ForesightSports.DownloadManager.exe → Properties
Go to the Compatibility tab
Tick Run this program as an administrator
(Optional) Also try Compatibility mode → Windows 7 if issues persist
Click Apply / OK

Install / Repair .NET 5.0 (v5.0.408)
Download the installer from Microsoft
Run it or repair your existing .NET installation
Restart your PC
Try FSX PLAY download again

Reinstall the Download Manager
If still not working, delete the existing DownloadManager folder (or uninstall via control panel if possible)
Then run the FSX PLAY installer from our support site — it will replace the Download Manager
After reinstall, repeat steps 1 & 2 to ensure admin privileges
