This guide explains how to update firmware for GC3, Launch Pro, and LPi devices.
Note: Each device type has its own update process.

GC3 and Launch Pro - Update Through Local Network (Internet Required)
Power On the Device
Ensure your GC3 or Launch Pro is powered on and connected to power.-
Connect to Network
Connect the device to your local network via one of the following:Ethernet cable directly to your router, or
Wi-Fi (Settings → Network → Wi-Fi)
The network must have active internet access.
Access Firmware Menu
On the device, navigate to:Quick Launch Menu → Settings → FirmwareCheck for Updates
Tap Check for Updates.
If an update is available, you’ll see an upgrade prompt.Download and Install
Select Download and Upgrade to start the process.
The device will automatically download, install, and restart.Verify Firmware Version
After reboot, go back to Settings → Firmware to confirm the version number matches the latest release.
LPi - Update via Firmware Upgrader Tool (Internet Required)
Download the Upgrader Tool
On your PC, download the LPi Firmware Upgrader Tool (.exe) from the LPi Support Page.-
Connect the LPi to the Local Network
Connect the LPi to your router or network switch using an Ethernet cable.
Ensure your PC is on the same local network as the LPi.
The upgrader tool requires this connection to detect the device.
Run the Upgrader Tool
Launch the downloaded upgrader application on your PC.
The tool will automatically search for LPi devices connected to the network.Select Device and Install Update
Once your LPi appears in the tool, select it and follow the on-screen prompts to begin the firmware update.Wait for Installation to Complete
The LPi will install the firmware and restart automatically.
Do not disconnect power or network during the process.Verify Firmware Version
Reopen the upgrader tool or check the LPi display to confirm the firmware version updated successfully.
Quick Troubleshooting
Device not detected: Ensure both PC and device are on the same network and connected via Ethernet.
Update fails or stalls: Restart the device and tool, then try again.
LPi not found by tool: Temporarily disable firewall or VPN software that may block local connections.
