The GC2 has a built-in rechargeable battery rated for approximately 2 hours of continuous use. This article explains how to charge the GC2, how to tell when it is charging, and how to power it on and off.

Charging the GC2
Foresight Sports recommends fully charging the GC2 before first use.
- Plug the included power adapter into a wall outlet.
- Connect the barrel plug to the 15VDC power input on the back of the GC2.
Checking the Charging Status
- Charging: The battery indicator on the GC2 display shows a lightning bolt.
- Fully charged: The battery indicator shows full, with no lightning bolt.
Important: Use only the power adapter included with your GC2. Do not charge the GC2 in wet or high-humidity environments.
Powering On
- Press and release the power button.
- The GC2 display shows a startup screen.
- If the GC2 is plugged in, do not disconnect power while it is starting up.
- When the GC2 is ready, the LED begins blinking and the display shows the ball-find screen.
Powering Off
- Press and release the power button.
- The GC2 completes its shutdown sequence, and the display and LED turn off.
Battery Care Tips
- Recharge before the battery fully runs out when possible.
- Do not expose the GC2 to extreme heat while charging.
- If you are storing the GC2 for longer than 30 days, charge it to approximately 50% first.
Battery Safety: Do not attempt to remove, replace, or repair the internal battery. If the GC2 becomes unusually hot, swells, or gives off an odor, stop using it immediately and contact Foresight Sports support.
