The GC2 must face the golfer to detect the ball correctly. When switching between right-handed and left-handed play, you need to physically move the GC2 to the opposite side of the hitting area and change the Handedness setting in the Foresight App.
Note:
If your GC2 is not detecting the ball after switching sides, please see this article instead:
GC2 BALL PLACEMENT & BALL LOCK
Change the Handedness Setting
- Open the Foresight App and connect to your GC2.
- Select the device icon in the top right of the app.
- Set Handedness to Left or Right. The setting is pushed to the GC2 and saved between sessions.
Move the GC2 to the Correct Side
- Right-handed golfers: Place the GC2 on the side of the hitting area that the right-handed golfer faces.
- Left-handed golfers: Move the GC2 to the opposite side of the hitting area so it faces the left-handed golfer.
- Place the GC2 upright on a level surface with the camera side (front) facing the ball.
- The ball and the GC2 should rest on the same level surface.
Place the Ball and Confirm Ball Lock
- Place a single golf ball in the hit zone in front of the GC2 cameras.
- When the display shows READY and the LED is solid blue, the GC2 is ready to capture a shot.
Reset Your Target Alignment
- Moving the GC2 changes where it is aimed. Lay the alignment stick in the hit zone pointing at your target to set alignment again.
- Remove the alignment stick before hitting.
