The GC2 measures the following ball data parameters after each shot. You can use the MyTiles feature to change how the GC2 shows the data on its display.
Ball Speed
On the GC2, ball speed is how fast the ball left the club face. The GC2 tracks ball speeds up to 180 mph.
Launch Angle
On the GC2, launch angle is the vertical angle the ball leaves the face, relative to the ground. The GC2 tracks launch angles from 0–70°.
Launch Direction
On the GC2, launch direction is the horizontal angle the ball leaves the face, relative to the target line. The GC2 tracks launch direction up to ±10° from alignment.
Total Spin
On the GC2, total spin is the ball's full rotation rate, back spin and side spin combined. The GC2 tracks total spin up to 13,000 rpm.
Spin Axis
On the GC2, spin axis is the tilt of the ball's spin, which sets the direction and amount of curve. The GC2 measures spin axis in degrees.
Back Spin
On the GC2, back spin is the rotation that lifts the ball and holds it in the air.
Side Spin
On the GC2, side spin is the rotation that moves the ball off its starting line, left or right.
Carry Distance
On the GC2, carry distance is how far the ball travels through the air before it first lands. The GC2 shows carry distance in yards or meters.
Total Distance
On the GC2, total distance is carry distance plus roll, or where the ball comes to rest.
Offline
On the GC2, offline is how far left or right of the target line the ball finishes.
Peak Height
On the GC2, peak height is the highest point the ball reaches in flight.
Descent Angle
On the GC2, descent angle is the angle the ball returns to the ground at, which decides how it lands and stops.
Hang Time
On the GC2, hang time is how long the ball is in the air, from strike to landing.
Curve
On the GC2, curve is how much the ball bends left or right in the air, from its start line to where it lands.
