The status light on the GC2 changes color and blink pattern to show what the device is doing. Find your light below to see what it means and what to do next.
Blue light, slow blinking: Searching for a ball
The GC2 is powered on and looking for a ball in the hit zone. The display shows NO BALL DETECTED.
What to do: Place a single golf ball in front of the GC2 camera.
Blue light, rapid blinking: Ball outside the hit zone
The GC2 detects a ball, but the ball is outside the valid hitting area. This also happens if more than one ball is detected. The display shows MOVE BALL INTO ZONE.
What to do: Use the placement aid on the display to reposition the ball, and remove any extra balls.
Blue light, solid: Ready to hit
The ball is in the hit zone, and the GC2 is ready to capture a shot. The display shows READY.
What to do: Take your swing.
Yellow light, rapid blinking: Alignment in progress
The GC2 has detected the alignment stick and is calibrating your target alignment.
What to do: Leave the alignment stick in place until the light turns solid yellow.
Yellow light, solid: Alignment confirmed
Target alignment calibration is complete. The new alignment angle appears on the display.
What to do: Remove the alignment stick from the hit zone before hitting.
Red light, solid: Error
The GC2 has encountered a fault. Check the display for an error code. For a critical error, the display shows a QR code for contacting support, and the error message stays on screen until the issue is resolved.
