When troubleshooting FSX Play, FSX 2020, FSX Pro, Fairgrounds, or E6, our support team may request a full set of software logs from your computer. To make this easy, we provide a small tool called FSSLOG that gathers everything automatically and places it into a folder on your Desktop.
No administrator access is required, and the tool does not make any changes to your system.
If you need launch monitor device logs (GC3, GCQuad, Falcon, or GCHawk), please use this guide instead:
How to Collect Launch Monitor Log Files
How to Use the FSSLOG Tool
Download the FSSLOG Tool here: FSSLOG v4.0.bat
Open your Downloads folder and double click the file.
Windows will show a small Open File – Security Warning prompt. Click Run to continue.
A Command Prompt window will appear and the tool will begin automatically after 10 seconds.
Wait for the collection to finish. The tool will close on its own.
When complete, two new folders will be created on your Desktop:
A folder named FSSLogs
A zipped version of the same folder
Attach either folder (the zipped one is preferred) to your support ticket.
What the Tool Collects
The FSSLOG Tool automatically gathers:
FSX Play logs and configuration files
FSX Pro configuration files
FSX 2020 logs, reports, sessions, and system files
Foresight Fairgrounds configuration files
E6 Connect logs
SDK logs
Key system configuration files
A DxDiag system report
System information and environment variables
Only log files and system information used for troubleshooting are collected. Personal files are not accessed.
Optional: Manually Collect Logs Yourself
If you prefer not to run the FSSLOG Tool, you can collect the required files manually. The folder paths below are the exact locations the tool pulls from. You can copy and paste any of these paths directly into your Windows File Explorer address bar to open the folder and retrieve the logs.
