You can purchase, upgrade, downgrade, and cancel your Foresight+ membership from your profile in the Foresight app or Foresight Premier. Both work the same way.
Purchasing a Subscription
There are three ways to start a subscription.
When You First Connect Your Device
- The first time you connect your launch monitor in Premier or the Foresight app, you are welcomed and walked through setup.
- You are offered a plan as part of that setup.
- Choose a plan to subscribe, or select Skip to continue on the Free tier. You can subscribe later at any time.
From a Locked Feature
- Features not included in your current plan show a padlock icon.
- In Premier or the Foresight app, select the padlock icon on the feature you want.
- The plan screen opens and shows what that feature requires.
From Your User Profile
- Open Premier or the Foresight app and go to your user profile.
- Select Foresight+ Membership.
- Choose the plan you want.
Choosing Your Plan
- Toggle between Silver and Gold to see what each includes.
- Select Compare plans for a full side-by-side table of Free, Silver, and Gold.
- Choose your tier to continue. If you would rather not subscribe, select Skip or close the screen to return to where you were.
Adding Course Pass
After selecting your tier, you are offered Course Pass.
- Choose Course Pass or Course Pass Pro, or select Skip to continue with your tier only.
- Select View full course list to see every course included. The list updates automatically as courses are added.
- Course Pass can also be added later from your user profile at any time.
Completing Your Purchase
- Enter your billing address. Address lookup is available, so you do not need to type it in full.
- Enter your card details. Payment is processed securely through Stripe, then returns you to the app or Premier.
- A confirmation screen shows the plan and any add-ons you purchased. Your features unlock immediately.
Managing Your Membership
Accessing Your Membership Settings
- Open Foresight Premier or the Foresight app.
- Go to your user profile.
- Select Foresight+ Membership. Your current plan is displayed here.
- Select your plan to open the management screen.
What You Can Manage
The management screen is organized into three areas:
- Membership — view your current plan, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.
- Course Pass — add, change, or cancel Course Pass and Course Pass Pro. This is managed separately from your subscription tier.
- Payment — view or change your default card and update your billing address.
Cancelling Your Subscription
- Open Foresight Premier or the Foresight app.
- Go to your user profile.
- Select Foresight+ Membership.
- Select your plan to open the management screen.
- Select the Membership area.
- Select the option to cancel, and follow the prompts to confirm.
What Happens After You Cancel
- If you are within your 30-day trial, cancelling before day 30 means you are not charged. You keep access for the remainder of the trial.
- If you are on a paid subscription, cancelling stops future renewals. You keep full access through the end of your current paid term, and the current term is not refunded.
Cancelling Course Pass
Course Pass is an add-on and requires an active Silver or Gold base subscription. It cannot continue on its own.
- Cancelling your subscription cancels Course Pass with it. Access to both continues through the end of your current paid term, then ends.
- To cancel Course Pass but keep your subscription, select the Course Pass area at step 5 instead. Your tier is unaffected.
- To keep Course Pass but reduce your cost, downgrade from Gold to Silver rather than cancelling. The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current term, and Course Pass continues on Silver.
Note:
Sign in using your FSX Live account. This is the same login used for FSX Play, FSX Pro, and FSX 2020. Membership management is available in the Foresight app and Premier — a subscription can be purchased on the web, but it cannot be managed there.
