No. Migrating to a paid Foresight+ subscription is optional, and your existing FSX license remains valid.
What Staying on FSX Means
- FSX Play is in sustainment: receiving critical bug fixes and security features but not new features.
- FSX 2020 is no longer actively supported. It is no longer distributed and functionality is not guaranteed.
Foresight+ Silver and Course Pass
- Silver and Course Pass have already been added to your account at no cost with your eligible FSX license.
- Nothing is required from you, and there is nothing to activate.
- Subscribing to a paid tier is still optional.
Ongoing Development
All new feature development is exclusive to Foresight Premier. Planned areas of development include AI coaching, training programs, video capture and analysis, and multiplayer.
Note:
You can continue using FSX for the life of the product. Moving to a paid Foresight+ subscription is a choice about access to future development, not a requirement to keep your current software working.
