Initial Auto-Response
When a customer first sends an SMS message to our support number, they will receive an automated reply requesting consent to continue via SMS. The message is:
“Hello, thanks for contacting Foresight Sports Support. We’ll use text messaging to help with troubleshooting, updates, and account security.
Reply YES to confirm. Reply STOP anytime to opt out. Msg & data rates may apply.”
How to Opt-In
To provide consent, the customer replies YES or Y.
Consent Storage & Confirmation
Once confirmed, our system updates the customer’s record with an opt-in flag. The customer then receives a confirmation message:
“Thank you for opting in to Foresight Sports Support text messages. You may now use SMS for troubleshooting, updates, and account security. Reply STOP anytime to opt out.”
Opt-Out Instructions
Customers may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP or S. This automatically updates their record to remove SMS opt-in status. The customer then receives a confirmation message:
“We are happy to have assisted you. You have successfully opted out of Foresight Sports Support text messages.
