To start with, the Quad will create a data packet for each shot. This data is unaffected by any outside influences and is purely the measured data (in relationship to the algorithm if applicable to the data type).
Then the data can be adjusted base off of the air pressure setting in the GCQ settings window. The options available are: Sea Level (or 0), 2500ft, 5000ft, 10,000ft. The data packet will remain unaltered when sending to FSX unless the option to use the barometer is selected.
- This means that your GCQuad device may be producing data, assumed at SeaLevel and presenting this information on the device as well as one the FSX Software
- This may also mean the GCQuad may be producing data that is different than the presented data in the FSX software, unless the Barometer option within FSX had been selected.
