Below are some trouble shooting steps that may help to return your GCQ Backlight to working order:
- Restart the unit and see if the issue persists.
- Press a few of the other keys on the keyboard a few times and then try the backlight again.
- Let the unit sit for 30 seconds and try pressing the backlight again.
We do occasionally see the backlight key lock up in high static environments or if pressing they key in quick succession, but the unit will always recover after about 20 seconds and the backlight will go back to functioning as normal. If the key still does not function after trying the above please contact Technical Support.
