Please Note: 4K resolution can only be achieved with Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti or higher while adjusting display settings for performance.
Steps below for optimizing PC and software:
- Check that the launch monitor is on the latest firmware.
- Make sure the internet connection is stable to the PC.
- Update Windows with optional updates installed (If on Windows 10 at this time not necessary to update to Windows 11 if the option is available (User Preference)).
- Check for the latest software version and PC specs.
- Check the Nvidia Graphic Card on the latest drivers.

Optimizing Windows Graphic Settings for FSX Play - This Article works with all our software only need to find the .exe for each software. Then follow this article: Basic Video Card Setup Guide
- Set the Windows Power Plan to "High" if available or a similar power setting.
- Within Windows locate Performance Options and set them to the best performance. You can also adjust some settings for better performance with "Custom".
- Do a search within Windows or Windows Control Panel for "Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows".
Once the setting is located set it to Best Performance or choose Custom then uncheck settings (Individuals with preferences).
- Do a search within Windows or Windows Control Panel for "Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows".
- For slow/laggy gameplay, etc. In the Graphical settings of the software try different settings such as resolution display (Ex: 4k to 1080p) and graphic settings set to performance or set it to low to medium depending on the software options and within Windows Display Setting set the display resolution to a lower resolution (Ex: 4k to 1080p).
- FSX Play users download and install .NET 7.0 or higher. This may help with performance.
- Do a soft reset of the software and if necessary the courses by deactivating the software License key and/or course licenses to resync with the PC and software.
